too many software problems

after using this product for a while, I found it's very buggy on auxiliary features, like if you were sharing very large file via ftp, then the file is not shared in whole, only a portion of the file are accessible, and if you were using parental control heavily, like putting 40 or more keywords in...

TP-Link AC5400

Worked one day and failed. Horrible experience attempting to return to the store. My recommendation is to not purchase this product. The only reason for the original purchase was the store only had these left on the shelf.

Ticks all the boxes - Id of paid more!

Unbelievable piece of kit! If your looking to upgrade from the standard virgin router this is what your after! Full 220MB on Wi-Fi from all rooms in the house, baring in mind it's a 3 storey building and the router is on the bottom floor! Can't speak highly enough of it.

Extremely dissappointed

Purchased 7-21-18 from MicroCenter. Extremely easy set up. Basically plug it in & go. Within a couple weeks problems started. Somewhere along the line the SSID of all 3 bands changed to the same name as the 2.4 band. This caused problems & took me a bit to realize what happened.

TP-Link Archer C5400 HomeCare Router

We all have a wireless router, and to a certain extent, it's just that thing that sits in the corner of the house, collecting dust and hopefully going about its business without a lot of involvement on the part of the user.

Mind-blowing performance; enhanced functionality via HomeCare update proves TP-Link stands behind its products

Awkward shape makes placement difficult; dual 2166MHz 802.11ac radios don't auto-negotiate connections for the user

The TP-Link C5400X is at its lowest price this Prime Day

TP-Link calls the Archer C5400X a gaming router, yet the one area where it's conspicuously lacking is gamer-oriented features. Cynically, I find myself wondering whether TP-Link is trying to woo gamers simply because they tend to be less cost-averse than regular consumers.

Fantastic performance and range; Eight Ethernet ports; Friendly; feature-packed interface

The price; obviously; Not much here for gamers

TP-Link Archer C5400X Gaming Router Review

TP-Link has released their latest gaming-focused router, the Archer C5400X. As the name implies, the AC5400X offers tri-band Wi-Fi speeds of up to 5400 Mpbs across both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Good overall performance; Integrated 8-port Gigabit switch; Robust security; management; and QoS features; Easy to setup and configure

Price; Extreme looks

TP-Link Archer C5400X Review: The Gaming Router to Top

It may be big and expensive, but TP-Link's Archer C5400X combines first-rate speed, range and built-in security to rule over all other gaming routers. Long live the king.

Excellent performance; Triband design; Customization potential; Security software

Big; Can't aim antennas; Expensive
