TP-Link Archer C5400 HomeCare Router
We all have a wireless router, and to a certain extent, it's just that thing that sits in the corner of the house, collecting dust and hopefully going about its business without a lot of involvement on the part of the user.
Pros:
- Mind-blowing performance
- enhanced functionality via HomeCare update proves TP-Link stands behind its products
Cons:
- Awkward shape makes placement difficult
- dual 2166MHz 802.11ac radios don't auto-negotiate connections for the user

Ticks all the boxes - Id of paid more!
Unbelievable piece of kit! If your looking to upgrade from the standard virgin router this is what your after! Full 220MB on Wi-Fi from all rooms in the house, baring in mind it's a 3 storey building and the router is on the bottom floor! Can't speak highly enough of it.

Extremely dissappointed
Purchased 7-21-18 from MicroCenter. Extremely easy set up. Basically plug it in & go. Within a couple weeks problems started. Somewhere along the line the SSID of all 3 bands changed to the same name as the 2.4 band. This caused problems & took me a bit to realize what happened.

The TP-Link C5400X is at its lowest price this Prime Day
TP-Link calls the Archer C5400X a gaming router, yet the one area where it's conspicuously lacking is gamer-oriented features. Cynically, I find myself wondering whether TP-Link is trying to woo gamers simply because they tend to be less cost-averse than regular consumers.
Pros:
- Fantastic performance and range
- Eight Ethernet ports
- Friendly
- feature-packed interface
Cons:
- The price
- obviously
- Not much here for gamers
