I bought this 3 days ago, and it overheats and turns off repeatedly, samsung forums say this is common, there is no fix for it

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 is a solid smartwatch, but unless you want LTE connectivity, there's very little reason to buy it instead of saving some money on the original model.

It's been a mere six months since Samsung released the Galaxy Watch Active, but the company is already back with the Active2 (starting at $279.99). While it's not a drastic upgrade from the original model, there are some welcome changes and additions. The biggest difference is that the Active2 comes in not only two case sizes, but two different versions: Bluetooth-only or Bluetooth and cellular. I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 for about a week now, and it has accomplished something remarkable: it's made me decide to stop saying there are no good smartwatch options for Android users.

I use this with iOS and can whole heartedly recommend instead of Apple Watch easily for the price and features. The only downside is I can't use Samsung Pay as iOS doesn't have an app for it and I can't reply to texts/emails from the watch but I can make and receive phone calls which is perfect for...

This watch is the best looking smartwatch around. The Design is top notch and Tizen OS is great on a watch. Best: -Notifications on your wrist. Notifications are always available, you can leave your phone on silent and sill get important notifications. -Design.

My second hand 40mm Apple Watch had certain failings, battery and small watch face. I was swayed by the sale offer of $200 off and I find it works well with the iphone11, my only draw back is not being able to checkout emails, but that is not a show stopper. Message alerts, sleep tracking, activity tracking, alarms and timers all work for me just takes a couple of days to adjust as with any new tech device. Nice large face which with most watch faces uses a low power mode which makes the readable without elevating the wrist. Good batt life but again dependant on the number of apps in play. Display provides more help and assistance and of course more readable with the larger display.

The trouble with releasing a follow-up device so soon after the first is there may not be too much to shout about
