I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 for about a week now, and it has accomplished something remarkable: it's made me decide to stop saying there are no good smartwatch options for Android users.

Just six months after the launch of the Galaxy Watch Active, Samsung has followed it up with the next generation of its flagship smartwatch. But why I've been wearing the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 to find out. Here's my full review.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 is a solid smartwatch, but unless you want LTE connectivity, there's very little reason to buy it instead of saving some money on the original model.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is a minor upgrade on its predecessor, adding a digital rotating dial, bigger version, currently inactive ECG, and LTE option. But it's also considerably more costly, putting a hefty price on only a few extra features.

The 'active' branding is relevant but not defining to the Galaxy Watch Active 2. This is an excellent smartwatch on every level, not just for fitness tracking.

With Wear OS still lacking, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 has serious potential to be the best smartwatch for Android users. The Watch Active 2 comes in both LTE and Bluetooth options and can be pre-ordered now. The Bluetooth model starts at £269/$279 for the 40mm model and £289/$299 for the 44mm.

I use this with iOS and can whole heartedly recommend instead of Apple Watch easily for the price and features. The only downside is I can't use Samsung Pay as iOS doesn't have an app for it and I can't reply to texts/emails from the watch but I can make and receive phone calls which is perfect for...

Brought this watch on pre order and I can't stress how bad it was. When I first got the watch I was initially impressed by the features and functionality. Especially the the auto tracking heart rate monitor and the ability to answer calla and speak front the watch due to there now being a speaker...

This watch is awesome and I hope people who buy this watch enjoy it just as much as me.
