NetGear N150 Wireless-N router is a decent value for the average home user
The NetGear N150 Wireless router was purchased as a Christmas gift for my mother. Her old router continuously had to be reset and would drop the signal.
Pretty good for price
I was told I did not have to spend a lot on a Router, so I bought this one on sale. It has slightly less range then my last one, but was purely Plug and Play simple to install
great once you get it hooked up correctly
once you figure out how to hook up correctly wirelessly then it is great....it still may not be hooked up correctly for all of my users associated with my computer but at least it works for the majority......scanning is awesome and a breeze....- scanning docs
- printing
You get what you pay for. Tech support is a poor!
Dispite talking with several tech support people, none could solve the problem. All had different answers from buying another more expensive model to not knowing what to do. The web site netgear.com advertises AirPrint is supported with any printer.- The price and ease of setup
- Tech support is very poor (in the Phillippines)
- This router does support AirPrint
Does what it's supposed to
So far this works great and I have no problems other than set up. The set up was oddly very difficult. First, the password wouldn't work...and then the wireless wouldn't work with my computer. But after a little jiggling and setting it up with the ethernet wire, it works ok.- Fast
- Highly Compatible
- Secure
- Small
- Difficult to set up
Great Price, Terrible Setup
Works well for the price, but it took hours to setup and I needed help from a technician over the phone, even though the packaging said no CD was necessary.

Handles three phones, 2tablets, one xbox . onne computer and two Roku with no problem . excellent product
A router which will work, probably with decent range too, but that's it. Not recommended
Its incredibly cheap, looks the same. The charging adapter given might be made by my local electrician, can't say, will ask him. Black looks horrendous to my eyes, and on the top of that its Glossy, ROFL. Fingerprint magnet too if anyone cares.
Netgear N150 Wireless Router
A perfect upgrade to an aging ADLS router like the TP-Link W8961ND , this Netgear N150 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router DGN1000 is firmly aimed at the budget ADSL market, but hopefully without any of the horrible shortcomings the TP-Link suffered from.- Ease of set up
- Reasonable budget performance
- Good design
- Lacking features
Easy to set up
My modem/router was dropping out continually so I bought a TP Link modem and this router. They were so simple to set up, just plugged it all in and set the passwords etc; job done. It really couldn't have been simpler. I now have excellent coverage and no dropping out.
