Review: Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7

Primarily a pro-audio company, Audio-Technica wanted its first entry into the arena to boast the best possible sound quality-with and without the noise canceling activated. For two years engineers went OCD over sound charts and oscilloscope outputs, tweaking and re-tweaking.

Amazing sound, balanced and sweet from Segovia to Snoop Dogg; Lightweight and comfortable; Battery still kickin' after two weeks of nearly constant use; Oh yeah: Excellent, clean noise canceling

The only new model without a monitor button-but you're probably better off dozing to the new Bone Thugs than hearing that Eragon is about to begin on the 10-inch screen five rows away

Outstanding Headphones, Great price.

Great earphones listening to an Ipod at home or flying. Noise cancelling is great. phones work without battery-very useful feature. As good as Bose for a lot less money.

Durable; Good Value; High Quality

I had a problem. I ride the bus to work, and sometimes you just get tired of all the noise, sometimes from the other bus riders, sometimes from the engine, or maybe I just want to focus on something else for the commute, like a good song or two.

I use it for about 6 months. I have purchased in the noise canceling function. Although I use in my car sometimes ... I wanted to hear my solos when I sliced ??my sound because in a traditional headset (I have a sony 7509) and even pushed well back, gn j'tais the noise .. .

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7 headphones review Review

Audio Technica's ATH-ANC7 headphones are a comfortable pair of cans. Noise-cancellation is excellent and sound quality is good -- bass and treble are well balanced and mids are clear and prominent.

General sound quality; Decent comfort; Excellent noise-cancellation; Concealed battery compartment; Detachable audio cable

Treble performance is weak; Sound quality in passive mode is poor; Sound leaks at higher volumes

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7 headphones

Even though noise-cancelling head gear can be found in earphone form, there's no substitute for a good pair of full-size cans. And that's what we're looking at here. At around AU$299, Audio Technica's ATH-ANC7s are comparable in price to Sennheiser's terrific PXC 350s and are on sale now.

General sound quality; Decent comfort; Excellent noise-cancellation; Concealed battery compartment; Detachable audio cable

Treble performance is weak; Sound quality in passive mode is poor; Sound leaks at higher volumes

Rate it all!

Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones

these headphones are awesome. they cancel out sound so well and my music sounds amazing. it comes with a lot of extra stuff like a carrying case, headphone splitter and a thing that allows you to convert your jack to fit into the big headphone jacks.
