Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7b Review

In active or passive mode, this set sounds clear and vibrant and will improve and listening session.

The lightweight design is easy to wear for extended periods of time and won't give you headaches

There is no remote included for answering phone calls or adjusting the volume

QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones

"They're still fairly bulky, but the price point was nice at less than $100. Good value and effective on a long international flight."

Mediocre quality headphone

Initially I liked the headphones and they seemed adequate. Upon regular use there appears to be a static hiss generated when the noise cancelling feature is activated. Sometimes it goes away and sometimes it does not. Regrettably this defeats the beauty of a "noise cancelling" headphone.

Outstanding Value

In a product category with items running hundreds of dollars these QuietPoint Headphones are a phenomenal value. Comfortable to wear they offer a surprisingly crisp and natural sound while knocking out loud ambient background noise.

All-around awesome noise-cancelling headphones

These headphones saved my life at the noisy office. The noise-cancelling feature works very well, especially with music, I usually don't even hear people calling my name. Sound quality-wise they are more than enough for me, although I'm not a hi-fi expert.

Great solution for an open office

Because we have an open floor plan in our office, we bought several sets of these headphones for people to borrow when they need some peace and quiet. I can't speak to sound quality, since that isn't our primary concern, but the staff are very pleased with these headphones. No complaints.

Junk

I've had two of these. The first started making really weird noises when the noise cancelling was on. They were covered by the Radio Shack warranty so I brought them back for new ones. Now, just a couple months later, the right ear phone completely stopped working.

Lightweight

Flimsy Construction; Poor Value; Unattractive Design; Uncomfortable

The Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7b is available in India for a price of Rs. 10,400. We would recommend these headphones if they didn't leak so much sound and if the sound quality was slightly better.

great sound with the anc on

Was mowing today and could only hear the blades of the mower deck spinning as they are at a higher frequency than the mower itself
