Still working after 4 years of serious gaming

Like I said above, 4 years later I am still happy with it, though I am going to be upgrading sometime soon, this board has held up well. I am a profuse gamer and spend most of my time playing various games that range from low end to modern AAA titles and this motherboard allowed for plenty of...

-Easy to setup whether in a new system or upgrading; -It says durable, and they mean it; Mine has lasted over 4 years including a lightning strike (3.5 years ago) at the house, which fried the network adapter on the board but everything else is still working strong all these years later.

-Connecting to SATA ports can be a little frustrating due to their location and angle placement

DO NOT BUY, Poor Quality build, HORRIBE customer s

The pci slot came off the board while un installing a video card, I've been building computers for awhile, I made sure I push the tabs down, and took the card out like your supposed too, Email the company and they accused me of uninstalling the video card properly..

Good board. For some reason the esata does not work and gigabyte support is of no help (as usual). But other than that its stable and looks great. Running: 8350 @ 4.7ghz 16gb 4x4 Samsung @ 1800 9-9-9-28 GTX 660 2x in SLi Runs great and the bios is finally not finicky like the other -ud3 boards.

Bought the middle of June, and so far it has worked well. One small note, I want to do and it is on SATA port that ended up right between the holes for wiring in my Define R3 chassis. Was a little awkward with the routing of the cables right there.

Best gamnig board

Product description should also reveal the version of the motherboard. Boards from gigabyte have version released and based on those versions there are some changes like a sound chip change or a memory controller change. That's it. Rest all great. Board came in gigabyte seal.

Easy To Install; Fast

I had the first version of this board when it was released back in 2011. I lost that board to a lighting strike that burned out the VRM section, the CPU survived though. This is still a good board for gaming or moderate OverClocking.

The only Con I can think of : If you are going back and redoing a board to add better audio capabilities; you could have also added more USB 3.0 ports than what it started out with!

GIGABYTE's GA-990FXA-UD7 a tops option for AMD fans

If you recall our review of the GA-P67A-UD7 a few issues back, you'll remember how much we loved the new design direction that GIGABYTE took, and have continued to take since. The GA-990FXA-UD7 feels like the spiritual sibling of the P67 board, with a strikingly similar beauty and a penchant for...

Upgrade

The Mobo arrived in new condition. After the install the USB mouse and none of the USB ports were recognized. A setting in the bios needed to be changed, "IOMMU" :enable. A tip from the MFG would have been helpful. Otherwise the mobo performs well.
