Upgrade

The Mobo arrived in new condition. After the install the USB mouse and none of the USB ports were recognized. A setting in the bios needed to be changed, "IOMMU" :enable. A tip from the MFG would have been helpful. Otherwise the mobo performs well.

Great product couldn't get any better. I ordered it round about 4 pm on a Friday and the item didn't come into stock till the following Tuesday due to the bank holiday Monday, which I was very surprised that it had arrived the next day as it was a 3 day delivery.

Great Board

Recieved as a Christmas present!!! Thought I was getting the rev:3.0 version but its a rev:1.1. Looks great and set up with no problems.

Built tough; Easy set up; Bios was simple to figure out

Not rev:3.0

Pros

I can't currently say I would buy this board again. It has been a real PITA ever since I bought it. If I could figure out this problem it has with crashing on power standby I may give it more credit. Another oddity is that it crashes when I try to run the Windows 7 Windows Experience index.

After the hullabaloo of getting this thing initially running it has run ok as long as it didn't go into standby; so far; Only had it running for a few days; Looks pretty

Comes with a Bios revision (F3) that is not listed on the website and didn't support my FX 8370; I had to install an old cpu, (fortunately I had one around) and downgrade to the latest non beta bios (F2).

Gigabyte FXA 990 UD3

Bought this to replace my 890 board so did strip out and fitted, the instructions and accessories were adequate, as most parts that come out can be reused. Instructions are clear plus pictures and diagrams are well laid out.

1 Month After Purchase

had to download straight from AMD's site. After updating all chipsets, USB ports (Etron), and sound from Realtek I am not having any more issues with the mo/bo. It appears to be working perfectly.

- if you buy all your parts with the AM3 socket in mind you should almost always clear taller ram - stays cool; my case idles at 24c; 26c with all the windows closed in the apt - pretty much everything I said in my initial review but I have a few things to add about this brand in particular things I

Out of the box you will have a few complaints and probably some issues with some things working correctly; Let me just say I considered trading it for a different one; Personally, as I stated in my initial review, I had problems with my sound being static-y.

Very nice motherboard

I've only been using it for ~1 week, but so far no issues at all. High quality build (especially for the price), very clearly labelled board so easy to set up and worked on first boot up. Has a good selection and quantity of sockets and slots.

Extremely Powerful

This motherboard is an extremely great improvement over my old one and the chipset allows up to 32gb, (currently at 16gb and it's doing amazing) It looks sleek, Fits nicely, A lot of USB 2.0 And 3.0 Ports, ESATA, And SATA ports, Love it. Would definitely recommend.

High Durability Poor software

Board looks and feels very durable. Installation was easy, bios setup was easy. Software programs like the bios menu and the extra software were clunky.
