Face recognition is poor in low light and sometimes in daylight, (I've tried resetting it several times) and you now have to click buttons on top of face recognition to install apps; Overall I've entered the password 65% of the time in low light.

Prior to the iPhone 10X I had a 5s. I never had any issues with it. Everything worked flawlessly and never once did I have a dropped call or any other issue with the phone. Eventually storage and the battery life became an issue so I, about four months ago I purchased an iPhone 10X with AppleCare.

I bought this phone as an upgrade from an iphone 6 (which was a great phone but dated) and i'm glad i did. IOS runs so much smoother on iphone x, it is definitely a welcome upgrade. Face Id replaces the fingerprint scanner and it's great!
