Apple iPhone X review: This is as good as it gets
Ten years ago, the best smartphone one could buy either ran a mobile version of Windows, came with a stylus, lacked any sort of app ecosystem, or had a physical keyboard that allowed you to hammer out emails for hours on end.
Pros:
- Impressive screen
- Solid battery life
- Face ID is amazing
Cons:
- Expensive
- Portrait Mode is still finicky

All screen The Apple iPhone X has an extremely striking design. This is due to the front face being entirely screen, apart from a small area where the phone's cameras and sensors are placed. The screen precisely follows the contours and curves of the design, even at the rounded corners.

Apple® iPhone X
Got my hands on one early, thats my impression iPhone X has the perfect combo of phone / display size. For the first time since first iPhone I am happy with the way it seats in hand & in the shirt pocket.

And the iPhone X certainly doesn't disappoint. It is a massive departure from what we usually get from an iPhone. For a start, the home button that's been a fixture of the device for 10 years, is gone. And in its place, is even more real estate for the dazzling 5.8-inch Super Retina display.

iPhone X has it all. Obviously it's not for everybody, but as the most premium of premium phones there's none better.
Pros:
- Desirable design
- Face ID is ace
- Excellent cameras
Cons:
- So expensive
- Side button controls annoy
- Notch means some app quirks

Apple iPhone X
After a week of using the iPhone X, we can say with confidence that Apple has created a revolutionary and almost magical device. While it may not be as significant as the original iPhone, it introduces several new technologies that redefine the experience and move the needle significantly ahead.
Pros:
- Face ID is a game changer
- New Super Retina OLED screen provides a whole new level of display quality
- iPhone "Plus" dual-lens camera system in an iPhone 8-sized package
- Wider aperture and OIS on 2X lens should provide better 2X photos.
Cons:
- The higher aspect ratio means the screen isn't actually larger than the iPhone Plus models, despite the larger diagonal
- The front TrueDepth camera notch and rear camera bump detract from an otherwise great aesthetic
- Lack of Touch ID makes Apple Pay slightly less convenient.

Charges slowly
Nice phone, takes great photos, good battery life my only complaint is that no fast charging out the box, Apple charges over premium for this phone and can't even include accessories needed for full potential, you still need to spend over $50 to get fast charging working unacceptable at this price...
