A word about the seller, Omnikeys. I purchased this unit because it was the lowest priced version. I didn't realize at the time that I was ordering from South Korea. When I realized what I had done, I began to fret, worrying about gray market goods and so forth. My fears were unfounded.

Having listened to (and purchased) several brands of high end bluetooth speakers, I can confidently say that the UE Boom is the best of the genre; Construction and attention to detail are rock-solid; The units are aesthetically pleasing and the sound quality is quite satisfactory.

With all its pros; it still feels pretty ridiculous to drop $200 on a bluetooth speaker; let alone $400 to have a stereo pair

I look for a long time to find a Bluetooth speaker that would be perfect for my needs. This one fits the bill. It has great sound, travels with me everywhere, and even fits in my cupholder of my car

We chose the ultimate ears boom over several other offers, our first requirement was for clear speech from the TV, we did not want a cinema high volume system, but clarity of speech.
