The Ultimate Ears Boom, made by the prestigious audio company bought out by Logitech a couple of years ago, is a consumer-friendly portable speaker that's made to go with you wherever you want to take your tunes.

I was attracted to this by the compact size, rugged construction, very long battery life and the ability to re-charge via micro USB and not have to lug a charger around. I have not been disappointed.

Hands down one of the best portable speakers I have ever owned. These sound better than most of the competition and gets much louder too with no distortion at all. I take this almost everywhere I go and all my friends are so impressed with how good it sounds.

Sometimes cuts out

Yes the product works as designed. However it (the driver) ended up causing a problem with other devices on Windows 10. After uninstalling the driver and power cycling you will notice UE boom driver still shows up. Looking at the registry (post removal) you will find UE boom all over.

Once you install the UE Boom driver; good luck getting rid of it

Lack of Bass

For the past eight months I've listened to music in my digital workspace/home office through a review unit of the Logitech UE Boom Speaker , connected via Bluetooth to my Mac Mini .

Forget Jambox . It's officially been replaced, at least to my ears, by the Ultimate Ears Boom: A portable wireless speaker that sounds almost as good as a much larger home system. It also has a brilliant stereo mode that lets you set up two Booms to act as a stereo pair.

I purchaesd this for use on construction jobs. The need for verbal communication eliminated the possibility of head phones. Need to be able to recieve phone calls with hands free.

Great sound Easy to connect to Bluetooth

Hard to hear on both sides of speaker phone (caller and receiver) Battery life is terrible have to keep plugged in for moderate volume rock and roll music

By design, the Ultimate Ear's website actually states that the "UE BOOM will turn off automatically after 15 minutes without music or user interaction." As such, it will disconnect when left alone so it needs to constantly be reconnected manually.

I seen the display models sitting out at my local Walmart. I have been looking for a good blue tooth speaker for some time now. I started to try them all out. They all had decent sound.. Until I came across this one. All I can say is WoW! It blew the others away.
