very good, no complains or issues
tam over the moon with this machine, as it seems to do all that I would want from a player and more. Had no trouble with any disk format including CD's, and then there is the the internet and Netflix there as well. Connected to a Bravia TV via the HDMI 1 ARC socket means the TV and the Player all work from the Nice handy remote., meaning I can put aside all the other controllers. Very nice and worth every penny, wish I had bought one sooner.
This is truly a great Bluray player. It's the 1st I've ever owned and I am impressed! Not only am I impressed by how much better Bluray is as opposed to DVD's but also with this player it's self. I got a great sale price on it ( saved $75) but I would buy another at full price.
This is a very good Blu-ray player with all the top apps like VUDU, AMAZON Prime Video, Netflix Youtube Hulu Crackle and TUBI TV, it also has Pandora and Sirius XM and other apps, It plays real 4k on the apps also and of course the Blu Ray player does too.
Easy to use
Bought the Sony ubp-x700 4K/BlueRay player two weeks ago mainly to upscale a large library of B/Ray and dvd's which it certainly does to my satisfaction. Great value for that alone. Liked the very fast disc loading time compared with my 5 year old Panasonic B/Ray recorder good though it has been.
Excellent choice for a BD player. PROS: easy-to-setup player configuration and update on initial power-up only took about 10 minutes nice compact footprint wi-fi connectivity discs load times fairly quick Dolby Vision support remote also controls tv convenient nav keypad at top of...

poor dashboard with little to no customization mostly useless menu tiles and very limited selection device has brief timeout when empty tray is open (powers off) occasional streaming lockups (ie; Netflix) cannot return/resume without complete power cycle
