Sony's shiny new console offers speedy gameplay options, but struggles as an all-round entertainment box. Just as with the Xbox One , there's a lot of interesting technology under the hood of the Playstation 4, but ultimately that matters very little indeed.

For a console that sold out locally in its first 24 hours, it's fair to call the PS4 launch a resounding success. Is this Sony's best console ever? The first time I heard about the PlayStation 4 (PS4)was on the 20th of February, 2013. Sony had announced the PS4 and claimed it would cover the ‘future of PlayStation'. From then on, I knew I had to get my hands on this new device. I acquired the PS4 during the month of January 2014.
Most gamers have an opinion that won't budge. Their loyalty to either the PlayStation or Xbox is immense. Both of these consoles are excellent in their own way. One factor that can sway your decision towards PS4, is the price. PS4 is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One.
