This is what perfection sounds like

Although the intended purpose of the Headphone is for sound monitoring, but believe me I am stunned how these headphones deliver the the clarity and depth in the songs (i.e. more than suitable for casual music listening).

New Sony MDR-7506 Headphone Black review

Good for neutral listening. The Sony MDR-7506 have a well-balanced sound with a punchy bass that doesn't drown the excellent mid-range. Instruments and vocals sounded good if a little lacking in detail and clarity compared to some other neutral listening models like the DT 770 and the ATH-M50x.

New Sony MDR-7506 Headphone Black review

Offer impressive clarity in the treble range on the cheap

Sony's MDR-7506 (MSRP $130) may not dazzle you with its outfit-there is absolutely nothing exciting to look at here, and you'll probably need to replace the cheap ear pads at some point. Yet, like Don Quixote with his bowl for a helmet, there's still great quality within.

Very balanced and flat eq sounding headphones.

Well mastered 320 kbps Mp3 and 24-bit Flac files sound amazing. Blu-ray movies sound better than the speaker setup at public movie theaters minus the sound impact to the whole body.

Flat eq sound that's hard to find in today's headphones; Very reliable and still sounds superb; Easy to drive and gives high volume without amplification; Sounds phenomenal with Blu-ray + Dolby audio post processing

Still requires a decent headphone amplifier to hear that awesome tight bass at lowest frequencies; Some poorly mastered CDs and MP3 at 128 kbps sounds ugly with the instruments mashing up during chorus which is clearly caused by compression

I really like these... but I like good clear high frequencies. Lots of detail in the music. The pads rot off over time (faux leather) but you can replace them with pads meant for an alternate brand (mine are now velvet). I would not be without them. They have stood the test of time.

high freq; clarity

pads rot away (over time

Fantastic For Production or Play

I have used these for almost a full year. I got these headphones on sale after my previous pair of headphones stopped working. Almost immediately after I put these headphones on I noticed an impressive difference. I was able to do more in-depth audio work because of the quality.

Sony MDR-7506 Headphone Black - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

Sony MDR-7506 Headphone Black - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features
