Sony Mdr 7506

After using these headphones for years in a professional environment, I have found them to be relatively durable and without peer for mixing live audio in noisy club environments.

Sony's MDR-7506 (MSRP $130) may not dazzle you with its outfit-there is absolutely nothing exciting to look at here, and you'll probably need to replace the cheap ear pads at some point. Yet, like Don Quixote with his bowl for a helmet, there's still great quality within.

One of the Best!!

After using these Sony Headphones for 3 months, I absolutely love it.

Good bass; Play all genres.

The wires sometimes gets in the way; It should be made in smaller size

Sony MDR-7506 Headphone Black - Brand New review

The Senal SMH-1000 studio headphones have the look and feel of the Sony MDR-7506 headphones, which pretty much set the standard for professional monitoring headphones in the sub-$100 range. In many cases, the Sony MDR-7506 headphones are even better than other models that cost substantially more.

Comfortable, Portable, and quiet

These headphones produce an amazing sound. it is quite different from your run-of-the-mill over-ear headphones and certainly different from any ear buds you've ever used. The sort of surround-sound effect that a lot of artists record with these days is amplified by the quality of these headphones.

Great Headphones

"Overall love the sound and build quality of the headphones. The overhead part and pieces are metal. Conveniently wrap around my head and ears. Coiled cord is also very convenient. Also when on ears can't really hear any sounds around, noise-isolation is superb. I ordered these headphones online.

I really like these... but I like good clear high frequencies. Lots of detail in the music. The pads rot off over time (faux leather) but you can replace them with pads meant for an alternate brand (mine are now velvet). I would not be without them. They have stood the test of time.

high freq; clarity

$100-headphone review: What does a Benjamin get you?

(6 items) Every type of electronic gadget has pricey, top-of-the-line models that provide phenomenal performance. But most of us have a gadget-shopping sweet spot: We look for the products that make us happy enough that spending more would be a waste.
