Best full frame mirrorless camera. I'm a photographer by trade. I shoot in studio Monday to Friday for a national e/retailer. For my work I use a combination of 35mm DSLRs and medium format cameras and the files from the Sony are absolutely incredible!

Happy customer.
Great camera. A beautiful design. Fortunately I haven't been indoctrinated in the Canon world so I've no problems adjusting as far as that is concerned. This is actually an upgrade from my analogue medium format camera and I find this fancy piece of equipment saves me a lot of time (obviously...

There is a reason this one is the top 35mm camera
I've been shooting with the a7 pretty much from the day it was released and since the A9 was not the specific product for my needs (studio portraiture and some landscapes) the A7Rm2 was the next logical step. Despite my expectations, the camera was a completelly different to the original A7.

Great camera, superceeded, beware ripoff pricing.
Great (but not perfect) camera, I've owned it since launch a couple of years ago. It has now been replaced by the a7riii (R3) and if you shop around you may be able to get the R3 for a similar price to that shown for the R2 here today 7/12/17 ($3,748).

I previously had a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS. I know it is quite a leap to have bought the Sony A7R II however I just LOVE it. It is light compared to the Canon or Nikon that were in the same range of quality. It is easy to use and the quality of my images have increased by 200%.

Now that SONY upgrade the Alpha A7 Series to the New A7RIII, A9 and the budged is a constrain, the A7RII still the best option to buy. If you are considering upgrade from the A6000 series, A7, A7II, or DSLR, the A7RII is loaded with a fantastic features and a 42.4 MP sensor you won't regrets for...

- A7 series with the play memories apps access..

- Batteries are cheaper now
- With 4 batteries in your bag you are covered
