I've been using the infanous sm 58 and 57 for years, time for a new mic-tried this and am nothing short of amazed at the difference in clarity and power. I make frequent use of a ditech vocalist live 4 for harmonies, and this mic REALLY makes a difference in the clarity of the vocals through this...

Using the Shure beta 56 mic.

This mic has great range with the ability to use as a vocal mic as well. I am a drummer and using the beta 56 enables me to set it up with an overhead boom an gooseneck and really save space in my playing zone.

Best of Everything...

I've been in this business a long time...In the studio, live, indoors, outdoors, you name it and I've played the venue... The old Shure 58 was a pretty good work horse for a long, long time. The beta 58A is a superior mic by far. Hard to find a place or situation it doesn't perform well.

More clarity; less feedback problems; Affordable and road worthy

None I found for a mic at this price

Easy to use, superb sound quality

Ordered this and use it for voice projection, not performance, but it works absolutely perfectly. The sound quality is much better than the Samson we had, and the sound is actually much better than the hard-wired handheld that we have. Shure makes great quality products.

Overall wonderful

I have recently started running pub quizzes at my local pub and to do so needed a good quality microphone that was not going cause trouble, was easy to set up and was nice and clear so knowing I would make quite a tidy profit from the initial investment I decided to pay £120 for the Shure Beta 58A.

Shure Beta 58A: Great value for money

The Shure Beta 58A is a fantastic microphone for the price asked. It's stylish, easy and light to hold allowing you to forget you are even using a microphone and just focus on singing. I also love the sound the mic gives my voice. With some you can feel like your voice is changed in some way.

Bought this to replace my 10 year old Shure wireless SM58 mic. This is a better wireless system than the old model with switchable frequencies and easy syncing so well worth it, plus the improved mic so very well pleased.
