Sennheiser RS 180 Wireless Headphone (Playback 33)
All other things being equal, I'd guess most of us would rather have wireless than wired headphones. It is pretty obvious that cords get in the way, cords require you to remove headphones to get up and find an old CD, and cords restrict your dance moves.

Sennheiser is a brand that stands out in the high-end and professional audio industry. They've recently launched a new model, the RS 180 a set of headphones that is a successor to the RS 170, which had a closed circumaural design.
Sennheiser RS 180
The RS 180's hefty price tag puts these cans in the upper mid-range of the cost spectrum, but the performance is right there despite a few quirks. Their cost is a hefty hit to the wallet, but most owners say these pristine-sounding wireless headphones are worth it, and some even say they'd pay more.- Amazing sound clarity
- balance
- Comfortable
- Awkward button placement
- Some minor sound latency
- Range sometimes less than advertised
Sennheiser RS 180 review
How much are you willing to spend on a set of headphones? Temper that figure with the following facts: the headphones are wireless, and broadcast on a high-resolution RF frequency for maximum quality without wires.

"New RS180 Sennheiser Wireless Headphones The Best Ever"
Every so often we come across a product that is a redesign of an existing product and in the case of the new RS 180 wireless headphone from Sennheiser, the upgrade is a dramatic improvement on what was previously a great product.- The system delivers crystal clear audio, which one expects when buying a Sennheiser product
- There is no hissing or static when I put a Blu-ray movie and CD on hold and no other interference when channels were changed.
- The only downside is that the volume and balance controls are now buttons and are not as easy to find or adjust as a knob which was found on previous models
- The on/off button needs to be relocated on the headphones.
