Very good sound reproduction

Sound quality is very good, but I haven't worn headsets for years, so nothing to really compare them to. I listen to music several hours a day, I listen for certain instruments and sounds. The Sennheiser 180 s miss very little compared to my speakers..
Pros:
  • Easy set up
  • mobility is great
  • good sound
  • and packed by Crutchfield
Cons:
  • The ear pads are hot to my ears, I am a hot natured person
  • I've solved the problem with cloth pad covers
  • The markings on the headset could be raised a little more making it easier to identify the controls by touch.
  • that would be it...

Very good sound. The bass register is too prominent for my taste, but the clarity is superb. Reception from room to room is excellent. Set up was easier than the instructions lead you to believe. I found the insructions a bit confusing.

EXCELLENT! Just ONE easily fixed flaw.

I've been wanting wireless earphones for as long as I've been hamming (over a half century!) Having tried the Sennheiser RS 160, the PREDECESSOR of the RS 180, I knew this is what I wanted. The predecessor didn't quite cover my whole home, though. Its range was rated at 20 metres.

WORTH THE MONEY!

I have used the Sennheiser RS-130 for the past 4 years, and the surround sound was incredible and delicious, but I was looking for an upgrade, the next generation from a high quality manufacturer.
