An adequate basic phone
With the market saturated with iPhone wannabes, its comforting to note that major mobile manufacturers like Nokia have not forgotten an important demographic: the basic phone segment. There is still a substantial demand for these simple no-nonsense handsets.
Pros:
- 1) Basic but sleek design
- 2) Minimalist look and feel for those who want it
- 3) FM radio compatible with 3.5" headphones
- 4) FM sound on loudspeaker mode is excellent
- 5) Adequate battery life
- 6) Flashlight (torch)
Cons:
- 1) Some menus are very counter intuitive
- 2) Alerts aren't loud enough
- 3) Voice calls sound tinny and plasticky
- 4) Saves a copy of your sent SMS (thinks its a Sony Ericsson)

I forgot to write: 1) Some people wrote that the call quality is bad. Not at all! When I talk with other people on that phone, i hear them well and they hear me well too. 2) "Voice leakage from the back side" - true, but not so bad.

UNREAL ITEM
I know that there are hundreds of different mobile phones out there, and boy have I had a few of those and most of them are very hard to understand if your not a electro geek like me with touch screens and alike, but I know that I can alway rely on a basic Nokia Mobile Phone like this one and it

Great Battery Life and great reception
This is my back up phone. I sign up Chatr because its unlimited talk plan. I already have a three years contract with Telus with my iPhone but the talk plan is not great enough for me to use in day time minutes, and I have to pay a lot extra money for my over talk minutes and my contract still have...

BEST PREPAID CELL PHONE ON MARKET
Great bargin phone for the money - Nokia is quality. It's not a smartphone - just a cell phone, and a dang good one @ that. The call quality is better then my $300 HTC Amaze.

nokia 1616 mobile phone
this phone was cheap and cheerful, it bought it for my husband to use for a short time. if i had seen it in a shop i would not of purchased it.

I would recommend the Nokia 1919 to a friend as it performs really well for the price you pay

modestly priced and without all the annoying features I don't want!
{Probably perfect for that family member who doesn't want a complicated phone. Easily navigated, large buttons, and a clear window display....perfect! It seems to last forever on a single battery charge.

Nokia 1616
One month back I bought a Nokia 1616 mobile handset on suggestion of the retailer. This is low priced entry level colored mobile. The features it offers justify its price of Rs 1350. Basically it is value buy. It is worth the price. The biggest surprise of this handset is its audio sound quality.
