Good all round performer, this lens, especially nice performance in the center. Distortion is well controlled in this wide angle.
Amongst the first of its kind, being a professional standard ultra-wide angle for DX format SLRs. Here we'll see whether the Nikon 12-24mm f/4 G ED-IF AF-S DX Nikkor can still hold its own.

I love wide angle lens and this lens gives me the room I need when working close to subject and to see the big picture. At F/4 it's has enough light to focus in most low light situations and still keep a nice depth of field. Rarely do I need to use manual focus, and in close the lens is still sharp.

A simply amazing lens. A must have for any landscape photographer.
I don't use this lense very often, but when I need it, I really need it. It produces fantatic photographs of entire rooms full of people and awsome shots of nature or mountins. The photographs are very sharp, even in low light with my D300 camera.

Its a little pricey, but I am still very satisfied with my lens. Recommended!

Lens hood isn't fitted on properly; there is a lack of aperture and soft edges in pictures usually
