Great lens and glad I got it for less than street cost.
This is a fantastic lens. Not quite as wide as the 10-24mm but has less distortion and better quality lens. The lens is recognized by Lightroom (I have version 3) so it has an automatic setting to adjust the distortion in post processing, where as the 10-24mm did not.
Great travel and landscape lens!
Bought it used from Adorama with a Tiffen UV filter for around $Au699 (including shipping to Australia). It was a toss-up between the Nikon 12-24 and 10-24 (and the Tokina 11-16) but ended up going with the 12-24 after lots and lots of web research.- Durable
