Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED - Review / Test Report
The Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED exceeds the already very good performance of its predecessor. The center quality is nothing short of outstanding matching or beating the resolution of a 10mp APS-C sensor. The border quality is very good at large aperture increasing to excellent levels at f/5.6-8.

Nikon's brand new 24-70mm zoom is one of those lenses that has a ridiculously long list of credits in its specifications. The official name indicates only a professional G-series design and the use of extra-low dispersion glass but its subtitle (written on the underside of the lens barrel) adds...

I bought this lens initially for my D200 but it was in anticipation of acquiring a D3 which I now own. On the D200 it was amazing at the telephoto end but of course a disappointment on the wide angle side. On my D3 it's a real dream. It's relatively light for a fast lens.

Great Lens
This lens is awesome, it has become the lens that is on the camera most of the time because of it's "just right" range. It is pricey, but you know you get what you pay for. Best Buy is a good place to buy it because they are an Authorized Nikon Dealer so it comes with the USA warranty, they offer...

- Well made
- super fast
- sharp
