Great all aroubd lens
This lens works great with my D700 for low light wedding photography. The bokeh is great at 2.8 and the autofocus is fast as can be. I recommend only using this lens with a full frame camera. I occasionally put it on my D90 but the results are not the same. Overall, I am happy I got this lens.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Nice Bokeh
- Strong Construction
Cons:

One of the best lens you can buy
Best standard zoom you can buy for a Nikon. AF is very snappy, build is amazing, contrasty lens, and images are very sharp wide open. By far the best lens you can buy to capture those special moments.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Strong Construction
- Rugged
- Very Sharp
- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Durable
Cons:
- Heavy
- Expensive

Nikon 24-70mm f2.8. A solid performer, great quality.
This is a Pro lens, and commonly referred to as the middle lens of the 'Holy Trinity'. The Trinity of lenses are, 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8. The reason I invested in this lens was for the pure fact that I do weddings and a lot of portraiture work for my business.

awesome but heavy
I loved loved loved the quality of the pictures I got but I had to return it. :( It was just too heavy for what I was looking for, an all around walk around all day lens.
