Wonderful and can be made even more versatile!
A gorgeous, reliable bit of kit which, with a couple of easy to use unofficial firmwares can be made to be even better! You need the AMOD firmware and the MODFS firmware. A quick go with your favourite search engine will locate these.

Nramalho's review
This product didn't work. But I think I know why, it is probably because it is missing some parts, like the antennas that are supposed lit up and gives wireless signals.

I purchased this product in April 2013 from Wal-Mart online and found out through Netgear technical support that it was manufactured in August 2010 so the warranty had already expired. If I wanted assistance from Netgear with setting it up I'd have to pay for it.

Runs great! When it stays connected!
I'm used to Netgear routers, so setup was easy. Speed and range are excellent when going through my 3 walls.
Pros:
- Good speed
- Easy setup
Cons:
- Constantly drops ISP connection

The rest of the features were still working reliably but this unit does not otherwise have a WAN port. It now serves the house solely as a WiFi bridge.
Pros:
- Gigabit was perfect for streaming HD media
Cons:
- DSL Modem port quit working after only 8 months

Netgear's DGN3500 Higher Speed Router : NETGEAR'S DGN3500 HIGHER SPEED ROUTER
It supports MacOS, UNIX and Linux as well as Windows even though Windows 7 was omitted from the list on the box. While at a price of £109.99 it may seem a little expensive, the DGN3500 can be found at lower prices if one looks around.

Netgear RangeMax DGN3500 review
Netgear's DGN3500 is a sleek looking but expensive ADSL router with Gigabit Ethernet and a built in USB storage server. Like Linksys's recent routers, it has internal rather than external antennas, so they can't be upgraded to increase the power of your wireless signal.
