HD collections seem to be the "in" thing at the minute, it's an easy way for developers to cash in on old material and a lot it's evident that a lot of HD collections have taken shortcuts. Fortunately, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is not one of those.

So all the games originally are to me 5 star all the way. I give this only 3 as I don't see any 'HD' difference, all looks exactly the same as it did years ago. Also don't get why they didn't include the ps1 classic mgs

At a time when quality games are hard to come by, Konami release the perfect turn-to title in the form of an HD re-master of their old classic...

Let's just get the bad news out of the way right now. If you're purchasing Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the PlayStation Vita expecting the exact same amount of content you got out of the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 version, you're going to notice something's missing right off the bat.

Still looks a bit ropey; despite the upscaling (Especially MGS2; control scheme is still a pain to use; story is still all over the shop; no MGS1; massive cutscenes + mental story = occasional bouts of tedium

So happy with this purchase. The moment I heard the music I had a blast from the past. These games are brilliant.
