I was amazed when I had the opportunity to review this title for impulsegamer! Being a long term reviewer and co founder for the site, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty was an early title that I looked after and one of the first games that I unreservedly gave a perfect 12/10.

HD Collections are becoming commonplace in the current games industry. Halo , Prince of Persia , Tomb Raider and most notably The Ico & Shadow of Colossus Collection are just a few of the series that have made the transition from the previous generation.

Whiny surprise protagonists notwithstanding, it's impossible to point to one key point of the MGS experience that feels so timeless, but it truly is. These are meaty, deeply satisfying games, and you get three of them for the price of one. Buy it.

I had this before but traded it away. I regretted it, but now I bought another copy and will not let it go again! This has 5 games total. MGS 2, 3, Peace walker, and metal gear 1, and 2 inside of MGS 3. For any metal gear fan, this is a must have if you do not already have it.

This is a must own and a no brainer if you love the Metal Gear Solid series. These games are remastered beautifuly and is very smooth. Its hard to believe that these games looked this beautiful a few years before the current gen. even Peace Walker looks amazing.

I never played a metal gear game before except metal gear solid that I just played in 2011. That game was amazing and the games in this collection are just as great. I have only finished metal gear solid 2 but I can tell that this is a great series.

Metal gear solid is my favourite franchise and it should be yours too. The metal gear solid collection has 3 amazing games packed inside it. All the games are amazing and give you hours of fun. The games look quite good (visual wise) and have a steady frame rate.

Having followed the MGS series from Playstation one, and a bit of the 2D world of Metal Gear from before that aswell, i was eager to see how the new HD remastering would alter the game. The answer.... In no way what so ever. You don't fix what isn't broken.

A couple of months ago I was going to buy a new PS2 so I could metal gear solid 3 cause the new PS3's aren't backwards compatible. But Then I heard of the collection I was STOKED!! I can't stop playing.
