The Short Version: MGS1 is sorely missed, but there's no denying this should be on everyone's shopping list. Older players will enjoy the nostalgia in HD and newcomers can get in on the ground floor to a series that stills shows more innovation throughout than most modern titles you'd care to name.

So all the games originally are to me 5 star all the way. I give this only 3 as I don't see any 'HD' difference, all looks exactly the same as it did years ago. Also don't get why they didn't include the ps1 classic mgs

This is a must own and a no brainer if you love the Metal Gear Solid series. These games are remastered beautifuly and is very smooth. Its hard to believe that these games looked this beautiful a few years before the current gen. even Peace Walker looks amazing.

Pretty much any flaw you'll find with this collection is simply a statement on the era of gaming for which these games took place. The collection promises little else than updated graphics, and in that sense they knocked it out of the park.

Every single game in this collection is worth 10/10 score and now it's on one disc, in HD, in 60 fps and in the best possible edition. If you never played Metal Gear games before, you should buy it.

These are classic PS2 games which have been transferred to HD and made playable on the PS3. A must have in the collection. Bought this for a great price using Tesco's ￡5 entertainment voucher. Great service speedy delivery!
