A couple of months ago I was going to buy a new PS2 so I could metal gear solid 3 cause the new PS3's aren't backwards compatible. But Then I heard of the collection I was STOKED!! I can't stop playing.

Wish Metal Gear Solid for the original PlayStation was included but you can still play it on the PS3.

Have always liked Metal Gear Solid and have always been amazed how they release them from time to time for the new consoles; The update to HD is really nice and makes it look all the better; Also includes Peace Walker which I wanted to play but was never released for PS3 until now

HD collections seem to be the "in" thing at the minute, it's an easy way for developers to cash in on old material and a lot it's evident that a lot of HD collections have taken shortcuts. Fortunately, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is not one of those.

This is a must own and a no brainer if you love the Metal Gear Solid series. These games are remastered beautifuly and is very smooth. Its hard to believe that these games looked this beautiful a few years before the current gen. even Peace Walker looks amazing.

Let's just get the bad news out of the way right now. If you're purchasing Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the PlayStation Vita expecting the exact same amount of content you got out of the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 version, you're going to notice something's missing right off the bat.

Quick Take: The collection is solid as a snake, but missing a couple key ingredients.

I never played a metal gear game before except metal gear solid that I just played in 2011. That game was amazing and the games in this collection are just as great. I have only finished metal gear solid 2 but I can tell that this is a great series.
