Great value for money

You get three amazing games for a low price with this bundle. Graphics wise they still look a bit dated even in the HD version, but they're such good games that it's tough to hold it against them.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (PS3) Review

The Metal Gear series has long been one of my favorites since its inception when it first appeared on the NES. As a Metal Gear Solid fan Konami's recently released Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is possibly the best HD re-mastered series of games I could ask for.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Superb: A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection PS3 Review

Until Metal Gear Solid came along, sneaking about was hardly commonplace in gaming. The release of the game back in 1998 was very highly anticipated, and the game proved to be something very different with its sneaky gameplay and detailed storyline.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Review

Metal Gear Solid: Confliction . Not something I expected as the game booted up for the first time; but it's there – an uneasy blend of rose-tinted muscle memory and a jarring array of old fashioned, vastly outdated controls.

Three of the best games from the last few years; Sublime story-telling if you have time to invest; Great value for money; shouldn't cost more than £30

Little has been done beyond boosting the resolution and framerate; No stereoscopic 3D; which would have been a nice touch; Controls haven't aged well; especially in MGS 2

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Review | Snake In The Grass

The Short Version: MGS1 is sorely missed, but there's no denying this should be on everyone's shopping list. Older players will enjoy the nostalgia in HD and newcomers can get in on the ground floor to a series that stills shows more innovation throughout than most modern titles you'd care to name.

Metal Gear Solid 2 is just amazing; More innovation than most modern games; Best stealth in gaming

Metal Gear Solid 2 is just amazing; More innovation than most modern games; Best stealth in gaming; Metal Gear Solid 2 is just amazing; More innovation than most modern games; Best stealth in gaming; No cutscene pausing; Peace Walker's a bit meh compared to the others; Crying babies will still hate...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (360, PS3) Review

Pretty much any flaw you'll find with this collection is simply a statement on the era of gaming for which these games took place. The collection promises little else than updated graphics, and in that sense they knocked it out of the park.
