Very disappointed after much anticipation in receiving the phone. Took it to the new carrier and the phone never came on! Had to send it back.

Its rear-facing camera is almost as much of a disappointment as the camera on the original HTC One

The HTC One M8 is loaded with features and beautifully designed and built but the image quality of its camera cannot keep up with the otherwise great performance of the phone. Images show little detail and a variety of artifacts across the ISO range. Panorama and HDR modes produce underwhelming results and the DuoCam is in its current state of development not more than a gimmick. The One M8 can make a great device for gadget lovers without any imaging aspirations but mobile photographers are better served elsewhere.

The HTC One M8 Eye doesn't offer anything new apart from the new 13MP dual-lens camera. However it still comes with the elegant metal body, a great touchscreen display and a powerful performance package. The updated camera doesn't impress as the overall quality is the same apart from the resolution.

The classic Oreo cookie is a wonderful thing. (By classic, I mean the Double Stuf, let's be real here.) It's the right combination of crunchy and soft, sweet and, well, more sweet. It's the best cookie ever and I won't hear any arguments.

The Windows Phone version of the HTC One M8 has great battery life, a high-end design, and great specs. But it also comes with Windows Phone's flaws. If you want a Windows Phone, this is the best.
