Review HTC One M8 Smartphone

Fans of the old HTC One M7 will be very satisfied with the new generation: Finally expandable storage , finally a unibody case, finally a higher-resolution camera – although at the front. The camera at the back still just uses a 4 MP sensor .
Pros:
  • Great design
  • Very sturdy metal chassis
  • Ergonomic shape
  • Excellent speakers
  • High-resolution front camera
  • Very good signal quality
  • Clear voice quality
  • Very cool accessories
  • Good screen
  • High performance
  • Very precise touchscreen
  • Innovative Duo camera..
Cons:
  • ...with a low resolution
  • Picture effects really depend on the picture
  • Zoe app not yet finished
  • Overloaded keyboard
  • Cheating during benchmarks
  • Not everybody will be satisfied with the camera

It was a phone for connoisseurs of design, a lone crusader for a painstakingly crafted smartphone experience sailing in a sea of plasticky sameness that characterized the Android segment.
Pros:
  • An Apple-level attention to design
  • great speakers
  • Sense 6 UI
  • sensible pricing
Cons:
  • No water resistance
  • inconsistent camera results

HTC One (M8) Google Play Edition Review: Great But For That Camera

Android purists have a common refrain they like to bust out every time a beautiful new piece of hardware comes out: "If only it ran pure Android!" in F-sharp. There's a pervasive belief that unpasteurised Android - and only unpasteurised Android - directly from the great teat in Mountain View is all...

Fantastic phone. As yet, there's nothing that I'd want to change. It runs fluidly, lasts a crazy amount of time, per charge, even without the power saving mode on. Does everything that is needed for today's media heavy user.

HTC One M8 Harman Kardon Edition review: Hyped Harman Kardon audio feature only amounts to spin

Unless you need a great deal on earbuds, there’s no reason to buy the HTC One M8 Harman Kardon Edition. Editors' note: This review shares many sections with the standard HTC One M8 review , as the devices are almost identical.
Pros:
  • The HTC One M8 HKE's sumptuous aluminum body makes a beautiful background for this top-flight smartphone's brilliant 5-inch display. It runs on a powerful quad-core processor and Android KitKat, the stereo speakers deliver excellent sound, and the depth-sensing camera brings a ton of useful features. It comes with premium Harman Kardon earbuds.
Cons:
  • The One M8 HKE’s special audio prowess is overrated and slathers on the bloatware extra thickly. The One M8’s battery is not user-removable. The phone's sealed chassis is not water-resistant, and the One M8's photos look less sharp than competitors'.
