Google Pixel 4 XL review
Overall, the Pixel 4 XL is a great device that adds some cool features along with a great camera but does have some hardware and software issues.
Pros:
- Great camera, especially in low-light situations, Face Unlock is quick, Good performance thanks to 6GB of RAM, 90 Hz Smooth Display helps makes everything on the screen feel faster, Good battery life that lasts most of the day
Cons:
- Storage options limited to 64GB and 128GB (with no free unlimited full-size photos and video storage to Google photos), A small number of apps support Face Unlock

Google Pixel 4 XL review
The larger Pixel smartphone. Google offers the Pixel 4 also in an XL version, whose size allows for a more powerful battery. Not only is the battery capacity sufficient to run the larger display, but it also improves on the overall endurance of the smartphone.
Pros:
- IP68 certification, very good camera performance, long-lasting guarantee of updates, 90-Hz display
Cons:
- no Wi-Fi 6, no storage expansion

Google Pixel 4 XL review: Same pros as the Pixel 4... and same cons, too
There's no denying the Pixel 4 XL has one of the best cameras around, but its shortcomings don't justify its high price. Instead, consider the Note 10 or the OnePlus 7T. The Pixel 3 XL is another great candidate and is discounted at $600 now. Update, Aug. 7, 2020: Google has discontinued the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones. Pros:
- The Pixel 4 XL has a big screen that refreshes 90 times a second, so everything looks real smooth
- It also takes outstanding photos, and its face unlock is the fastest we've seen.
Cons:
- The phone is expensive
- doesn't come with earbuds and has no expandable storage option.

Google’s Pixel 4 XL Android smartphone was released late in October. There were quite a few reviews that came quickly, unfortunately, we had a few issues with our review unit. The biggest issue we had was that the device wouldn’t update to the November update.

Last year I told you about a Pixel 5 and if the advertising is correct the Pixel 6 is available so why should I now get the look at the Pixel4XL. On the face of it a phone launched at least two years ago would be well past its sell by date.
