The Pixel 4 Is a Fantastic Phone, Just Not Our Favorite
For once, Google’s latest phone falls short. Its predecessor is just as good—and cheaper.- Class-leading camera with great night shots. Face unlock works better than any other Android phone. Gets regular software and security updates. Beautiful 90-Hz OLED display and powerful chipset. Awesome new audio transcription features.
- Battery performance is manageable, but the phone may die before bedtime if you have a particularly long night. Waterproof but not dirtproof. No headphone jack. $799 base model has only 64 GB and lacks a MicroSD card slot.

- Storage limits
Google Pixel 4 XL review: Look mum, no hands
Once again it's the camera that sings in the Pixel 4 XL. It's a pleasure to use and now paired up with a great display, it's a really compelling experience when it comes to capturing photos and video on your phone.- Camera performance

- Wonderful display
- Battery life is average
- Motion Sense gestures add little to nothing

Google Pixel 4 XL review: the big wait for software updates
With the new Pixel 4 XL , Google leaves the paths of the previous Pixel generations. - Fast fluid display
- Pure Android
- Innovative Motion Sense
- Jagged Face Unlock
- Many functions are waiting for software updates
- Motion Sense still limited in use
- Battery life only satisfactory

Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL review: more than the sum of its sensors

Google Pixel 4 XL review
The Google Pixel 4 duo was not Google's best-kept secret. We saw pictures of the phone weeks before the event, and we even learned about Face unlock while Google teased the Motion Sense features ahead of its event.- Gorgeous, color-accurate display., Unique textured design., Quick and reliable Face unlock., Great camera performance.
Google Pixel 4 XL review: A Soli excuse for a battery
It seems that adding innovative extras on the Pixel 4 XL has robbed it of the basics. The battery life is woeful, there's no fingerprint reader, Google Assistant keeps popping up like an annoying neighbour and there are those great big bezels making the screen look untidy.- Motion Sensor
- Superb display
- Great cameras
- Thick bezels
- Poor battery
Google Pixel 4 XL review
The larger Pixel smartphone. Google offers the Pixel 4 also in an XL version, whose size allows for a more powerful battery. Not only is the battery capacity sufficient to run the larger display, but it also improves on the overall endurance of the smartphone.- IP68 certification, very good camera performance, long-lasting guarantee of updates, 90-Hz display
- no Wi-Fi 6, no storage expansion
