I was satisfied from the very first time that I used it. Pictures scannd came out just like the originals. I intend to use it more often.

Installation is intuitive. There are 4 programs that come on the CD that are optional. Doesn't work with USB hub. Have to connect it directly to a USB port on the computer. I purchased this item on sale for my wife. She is quite happy with it. Started to use it right away a week ago.

The market for standalone scanners isn't what it once was, which is primarily down the fact that all-in-one printers have taken away much of the demand thanks to their added convenience.

Purchased because of price and brand name. Older scanner was incompatible with Windows 7 upgrade. So far, it works flawlessly and fits nicely in my cramped office space.

This is a very good scanner for a fairly modest price. I needed a better scanner for musical OCR, and Epson is the name brand that others are compared to so I decided that an Epson scanner was my best bet.

Poor Software

I did a lot of research and decided this would be the best scanner for my budget. So far, so good. (I've owned it for about 2 weeks.) The setup was fast and easy. The document capture program is very easy to use. Document and picture images are quite good. Text could be a bit sharper.

I had an earlier version, the V30, and it served me well. It lasted about 3 years and I paid $59 so it cost me about $20 a year. It works well and is easy to use.

Scanner is easy to set up and use. Produces very good photos scans, Not real fast, but for me that's no problem. A super buy.

So far I totally love this....pictures are perfect when scanned....I could print them off and they would pass for the original photo. Quick and easy to use also.

" Works as advertised. Paper trays load easily. Special rear loading tray at rear good extra just in case. Having separate trays good feature. Wireless hook up and software installation went with no hitch. Printing as advertised. Nice small footprint. So far no complaints.
