I used V37 to scan old photos. The one-click Color Restoration function was very helpful. The scanner is easy to use, the colors are accurate, very low noise when scanning, light weight, desk footprint small, fast speed.

If you're a mac user, when you receive your scanner: 1. Throw the accompanying software CD in the bin. 2. Go to the Epson website and look for the V37 page, where you will find drivers and software. It will recommend some for you: install it. It will take about 3 minutes. 3.

So far I totally love this....pictures are perfect when scanned....I could print them off and they would pass for the original photo. Quick and easy to use also.

This scanner works perfectly. It's fast and easy to use. The quality of the scans are great. I do a lot of paper stuff that requires copies to be sent via e-mail. So being able to scan to PDF format is a big plus.

Despite NewEgg's description, this is an LED scanner, not CCD. Whether that's an advantage or a disadvantage depends on your needs and point of view.

This is a very good scanner for a fairly modest price. I needed a better scanner for musical OCR, and Epson is the name brand that others are compared to so I decided that an Epson scanner was my best bet.

I did a lot of research and decided this would be the best scanner for my budget. So far, so good. (I've owned it for about 2 weeks.) The setup was fast and easy. The document capture program is very easy to use. Document and picture images are quite good. Text could be a bit sharper.

This scanner was purchased to be used by office staff to scan documents. The Epson V37 is simple to use and it is a welcome addition to the office technology family.

Purchased because of price and brand name. Older scanner was incompatible with Windows 7 upgrade. So far, it works flawlessly and fits nicely in my cramped office space.

I had an earlier version, the V30, and it served me well. It lasted about 3 years and I paid $59 so it cost me about $20 a year. It works well and is easy to use.
