Installation is intuitive. There are 4 programs that come on the CD that are optional. Doesn't work with USB hub. Have to connect it directly to a USB port on the computer. I purchased this item on sale for my wife. She is quite happy with it. Started to use it right away a week ago.

If you're a mac user, when you receive your scanner: 1. Throw the accompanying software CD in the bin. 2. Go to the Epson website and look for the V37 page, where you will find drivers and software. It will recommend some for you: install it. It will take about 3 minutes. 3.

this is a really good scanner i have never owned one before and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to make drawings on regular computer paper and A-4 paper size and really good for photos from old cameras so its a 10/10 for me.

Scanner is easy to set up and use. Produces very good photos scans, Not real fast, but for me that's no problem. A super buy.

Purchased because of price and brand name. Older scanner was incompatible with Windows 7 upgrade. So far, it works flawlessly and fits nicely in my cramped office space.
