First time ever using a Brother product/fax machine..and I must say it is on top of it's game. I do basic receive/send/copy, but it was a challenge for me to read the instructions in the book on how to put the machine together out of the box, but once I started, it was so simple and easy to follow,...

I really love it, it is perfect for what we need and I set it up myself, that means it was really easy. I'm not so good at that sort of thing.

THIS FAX/COPIER IS REALLY A PIECE OF JUNK! I have only had it two months and it won't copy or receive information from my computer. I tried to obtain information from Brother internet, but nothing works. The printer continually send the message "telephone", instead of printing. IT IS WORTHLESS!

Works okay, replaced an older fax machine that had trouble sending/receiving over a T-Mobile mobile internet line. Main issues are the Deep Sleep which you will not receive incoming faxes, so read the other reviews on how to disable this. And the display is not backlit so hard to read.

Easy to use, all functions have step by step on screen display of what to do. Scans documents quickly for fax. Prints very clear received faxes and reports.

It's a nice, compact unit that is extremely easy to install. I particularly like the feature that prints a confirmation page with a partial copy of the sent fax. Now I know at a glance which fax was sent, busy, not sent, etc. without having to match phone numbers!

does not work well w/ VOip lines we get MANY poor line connections reports

Just fax nothing else, and that's what we wanted. Good product.

We still use fax machines at my office and these are simple and painless to setup.
