I really love it, it is perfect for what we need and I set it up myself, that means it was really easy. I'm not so good at that sort of thing.

This does not work well with answer machines or voice mail from phone company. This would have stopped me from buying it had I known. I still have my old fax machine plugged in & the new Brother fax is being used as a black & white copier instead. Great machine for dedicated fax line.

First time ever using a Brother product/fax machine..and I must say it is on top of it's game. I do basic receive/send/copy, but it was a challenge for me to read the instructions in the book on how to put the machine together out of the box, but once I started, it was so simple and easy to follow,...

Works okay, replaced an older fax machine that had trouble sending/receiving over a T-Mobile mobile internet line. Main issues are the Deep Sleep which you will not receive incoming faxes, so read the other reviews on how to disable this. And the display is not backlit so hard to read.

Do not know why anybody would want a printer these days that has to be plugged into print? I assumed it was wireless due to all of the other features.

This item is a brilliant fax machine, it does everything that you need it to, and the print quality is clear so very easy to read, no blotching or lines.

This unit replaced a MFC Inkjet that was being used as a fax machine in my home office. The MFC became unreliable at sending and receiving fax messages after I switched my phone lines to VOIP, so I replaced it with this. So far, I have been really happy with it.

Very easy to set up! I downloaded the software for this FAX from Brothers website and used that with a USB cord connected to my computer for the setup; I now have a very capable laser printer and a new fax machine for my home office.

The only con I can think of is the cost of the Brother toner compared to all the "compatible" toners on the market (which do not have the print quality of the Brother toners)
