Brother P-touch D210 Review
The Brother P-touch D210 is an inexpensive, standalone label printer that can print laminated plastic labels on 12mm-wide (not quite 0.5-inch) tapes. Standalone label printers like the Brother P-touch D210 ($39.99) come in two basic designs: handheld and desktop. Handhelds are longer than they are wide, so you can hold them in one hand while using the other to enter text for the label. They usually have ABCD keyboards. Desktop designs are wider, making them hard to hold as you type—unless you have large hands—but they also have QWERTY keyboards, which makes entering text a lot easier. The PT-D210 ($34.99 at Amazon) is one of the better examples of the desktop category, making it our Editors' Choice for an inexpensive, standalone label printer. The PT-D210's competition includes handheld models like the Brother P-touch PT-H100 ($34.99 at Amazon) and the Dymo LetraTag 100H Plus ($34.99 at Amazon) , along with other desktop models, most notably the Dymo LetraTag Plus LT-100T ($34.99 at Amazon) . All four of these label printers are small, light, inexpensive, and capable. The PT-D210 stands out for having both a QWERTY keyboard an...

Works well, many features, user-friendly. Cons : You need to buy the power cord separately if you don't want to go through AAA batteries very fast... You also need to learn how to use the chain printing if you don't want to waste tape

Great little label maker
My first label maker, I like it. It did come with a sample amount of tape, and a list of what sizes and model numbers fit with machine. Does not come with a cord to plug into the wall, but you can buy one separately. You will need batteries to use this otherwise.
