Great Label Maker!

I love using this label maker to stay organized! So nice and user friendly. My only complaint is that the brother brand label refills cost the same as a new label maker, so I just buy generic ones off Amazon and it makes it much more affordable.

Works well, many features, user-friendly. Cons : You need to buy the power cord separately if you don't want to go through AAA batteries very fast... You also need to learn how to use the chain printing if you don't want to waste tape

Excellent value when on sale

I've had other inexpensive P-touch machines before but this one is the best by far. As with just about every printing device, you end up having to spend much more on the required ink/toner/tapes. The tapes it takes has the split back design so peeling off the label is very easy.
Pros:
  • dual power options available
  • print preview button
  • fast printing
Cons:
  • waste of tape at the beginning of every label
  • very dim lcd screen
  • the price of tapes

Wasted tape

I agree with earlier review... There is always .5" of empty space that you have to cut off before every label. This is my least favourite Brother label maker. The fancier features of this one are not worth the wasted tape and the need to have scissors.

Brother PT-D210

For many home users, the Brother PT-D210 is all the label maker they'll ever need. You get more than a dozen fonts, lots of decorative borders and 600-plus icons to dress up your labels. However, the PT-D210 can only print on tapes up to 1/2 wide, and there's no AC adapter included.
Pros:
  • Durable
  • crisply printed labels
  • Easy to use
  • Loads of on-board fonts
  • borders and icons
Cons:
  • No AC adapter included
  • Can only print on tapes up to 1/2 inch wide

Great little label maker

My first label maker, I like it. It did come with a sample amount of tape, and a list of what sizes and model numbers fit with machine. Does not come with a cord to plug into the wall, but you can buy one separately. You will need batteries to use this otherwise.
