This is a great Brother laser printer. It prints really fast and has excellent print quality. We just upgraded our office printers to this printer. They are a super good buy for the price.

15 minute setup for wireless. Superfast on the network as it comes out of sleep mode really quick. You'll have to play with the settings to print duplex. Small footprint is really nice. Excellent printing on small/fine print and graphics.

We used the older models of printer throughout our our company for years. They used to be very good and reliable but he latest model HL-5470DW is terrible. The fuser unit overheats and the non stick coating comes off causing the paper to grip and this in turns causes a paperjam.

The WiFi set up is too complex. I'm not a super user, and technology intimidates me, but come on Brother International! Who edited the instruction manual for common sense and understanding? Jeesh!!! Brother technicians came to my rescue.

I am extremely pleased with the HL 5470DW printer. I was able to link it to my wireless router with one touch. It provides clear, sharp copy. I can't begin to say enough good things about it.

I really love this printer. I bought it to replace a HP Laserjet 4 that I had used since the 90s and thought I wouldn''t be able to find a comparable printer that I also loved but I was wrong because this printer is awesome.

Lightening fast; clear copies

Had to buy USB cable to hook it up as a regular (non-wireless) printer

Had to waste over 2hours on two calls, to Brother tech support to find out that this Model Brother HL-5470DW does not support (Toner Continue Mode) like the [HL-2270DW HL2280DW HL-6180DW} supposedly does? [[[ So they built it into this model to screw-over customers and lock the printer ]]].

If Toner is Not Low; It works ok

This Printer does not support / or have (Toner Continue Mode); So it Stops Printing -Will not let you Print- when "Replace Toner Cartridge" Alert comes up....Most Laser Printers will let you continue to print (the toner just gets lighter and lighter as you use it).

I'm using 4 desktops,3 laptops, 1 macbook pro, 1 Ipad and everybody can talk to this printer and print with no probs! 2 of the desktops are wireless as well. Brother kicked it in the azz with this machine, Brother Printers Rock baby!!!
