Staples had the best price and free delivery on this item. The UPS is a solid and reliable performer. The is the 8th model from the Back-UPS family I've had over the years and none have disappointed.

It seems to be working. It is important to place this UPS far away from Wifi modems as it could cause interference with wifi. It did arrive in time. However, it is not possible for me to say how long the product and battery lasts and how it performs during a power outage.

We are a small non-profit, and we need UPS support for our computer systems as we're a medical and dental clinic. These battery back-ups support a computer and two monitors perfectly. They do exactly what we need them to do.

Overall a well made product with some limitations such as battery and manufacturer support. I have an identical unit several years old that does not work but might if there was more information available.

This item worked exactly as expected. I live in an area where the power flickers and goes off and on a lot. I have me telephone/answering machine, and my clock/weather radio attached to it.

I finally broke down and upgraded my UPS. I had a very good UPS from APC, but since I now use Mac OS 10.8.5, I could not make use of the old UPS. The old UPS did not have a usb port. Well, I did buy it new in 2003 and it worked fine with the older Mac OS 9.x.

I use APC to protect my computer and TVs here in Florida and never had problems. I do have a question on the BE550G data protection. The documentation says RJ45 10/100 Base-T Ethernet protection, does this include CAT6 gigabit? Thanks

I bought one that has 8 outlets. It's convenient and doesn't take up much room. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my things won't crash without a backup battery. Easy to follow first time instructions.

On occasion, our power goes out for a few seconds and so while only the lights flicker, our computer shuts abruptly down. We purchased this APC battery backup surge protector and have been so happy.

I had to buy this because a fuse vaporized when the recharging transformer blew open. Shame on APC for being so stingey to return the favor I will be not be buying a part from them but from digikey or futurlec.
