Adata has tried to create three different and unique external drives, each with a different use in mind. On the DashDrive HV610 and DashDrive Durable HD710 the ability to store the USB cable is a very practical and welcome feature.

Not rugged, not waterproof. Cheap and fragile.
Bought to carry large amounts of data around from the lab to and from work. Very disappointed. The cable connection is really poor - it's? super loose and will undoubtedly be the first thing to fail - not rugged at all.

Cons:
- Cable channel and protective door are a bit fussy
- Fake carbon fiber is never a good idea
- Cable wrapped around chassis has potential to rub and fray
