Powerful, well done and realiable Hard Drive. First time I brought this brand and the result is perfect. Amazing bunch of connections, fast and a great price.

There is lots of space to backup a pc hard drive at least for the time being. Tomorrows advancing apps and media may require more, but for the time being 1TB should be more than enough for todays PC, or at least for mine.

expected to be able to put items on harddrive to free up computer, dont know if im using it wrong or if it doesnt do it but def back up my macbook pro.

An excellent EHD at a very reasonable price. I love the WD passport HD because you don't need a power source on top of your USB and this external in particular runs quite fast without it! The only thing I wish it had different would be that it had a bigger memory!

I just recently purchased this so the proof is still being vetted (I have not had to rely on it yet to recover data for a crashed main drive - time will tell, although preliminary checks show it is working).

Works fine with Linux, using XHCI. I used this for backups, in addition to a few Toshiba 1TB USB 3 disks. Can't tell the difference in performance between them.

I have been using this product and I am highly satisfied. Now the pros and cons..... Pros.................. •Premium looks •Sturdy built quality •Stable Transfer speed Cons.................. •USB data cable length is quite short. Hence using it on a desktop becomes problematic.

Best external Hard Drive I have ever purchased/owned. 1TB is plenty of space for everything. The Hard Drive fits in my pocket. Fast data transfer rates. Absolutely no noise or heat issues.

Does what it needs to, solid, light. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the dodgy software provided which is memory hungry. Probably have to uninstall most of it.
