I enjoyed traveling with this lens domestically U.S. .Great sharp images on D810, not too heavy. Currently using this to photograph stuff that my friend sells on their website. Using high f-stops, great results!

What an amazing lens. If you think that you need canon or Nikon just because they are the same brand as your camera, this lens is on their level! It is an absolute wonder to work with, actually it's become more fun than work. Smooth, fast. VC is nice.

After much deliberation, I opted for this new Tamron lens over the tried and true (but more expensive) Canon 100mm Macro. I am a hobby photographer and I am not going to go into a detailed analysis of every aspect of this lens.

I replaced my old Tamron 90mm macro lens, which had served me so well over many years, with this updated version. I am as delighted with this lens as with its predecessor.

Bought this to replace a broken older model Tamron 90mm macro. Very impressed with this lens. Very sharp images, of which mostly were taken hand held. Quick, quiet focusing. Nice bokeh. Build feels solid. Haven't noticed any chromatic aberration or distortion, although not an expert on that stuff.
