She sell sea shells, yatta yatta yatta.. Seaside OR

I enjoyed traveling with this lens domestically U.S. .Great sharp images on D810, not too heavy. Currently using this to photograph stuff that my friend sells on their website. Using high f-stops, great results!

Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro Lens Review

I've always preferred longer focal-length macro lenses in the 90-100mm range because they give you more breathing room between the camera and skittish subjects than does standard (50/60mm) macros.

Great lens

Aesthetically pleasing very easy to use especially in manual mode. Macro shots are very clear, which is the primary reason I bought the lens

Excellent image quality

Bought this to replace a broken older model Tamron 90mm macro. Very impressed with this lens. Very sharp images, of which mostly were taken hand held. Quick, quiet focusing. Nice bokeh. Build feels solid. Haven't noticed any chromatic aberration or distortion, although not an expert on that stuff.

Easy to use; Build quality

New possibilities

I purchased this product from a retailer. This lens has a amazing possibilities. Great portrait lens, Produce excellent results, In fact razor sharp images. Compared to Canon macro lens this is damn cheap too. This is the latest version of Tamron macro 90mm VC, A must have for Canon macro aspirants.

Great Macro Lens

After much deliberation, I opted for this new Tamron lens over the tried and true (but more expensive) Canon 100mm Macro. I am a hobby photographer and I am not going to go into a detailed analysis of every aspect of this lens.

Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Macro F017 Lens Review

In a time when lens manufacturers, including Tamron, are pushing boundaries back, it is interesting to see Tamron introduce a new lens with the same name as the previous lens, requiring the model number to be included in references for differentiation.

Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD

Tamron's venerable 90mm macro has long been a favorite third-party lens for many SLR owners. The SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD ($649) adds image stabilization (though Tamron calls it Vibration Compensation) and updates the aesthetic to match its recent SP lens offerings.

Extremely sharp; No distortion; 1:1 macro magnification; Optically stabilized; Available for multiple camera systems

Dim corners at wide apertures

Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD Review

Tamron's venerable 90mm macro has long been a favorite third-party lens for many SLR owners. The SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD ($649) adds image stabilization (though Tamron calls it Vibration Compensation) and updates the aesthetic to match its recent SP lens offerings. It's an incredible performer, less expensive than alternatives like the Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED and the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM ($849.99). That makes it an Editors' Choice winner. DesignFinished in black, with a silver ring at its base, The SP 90mm measures 4.6 by 3.1 inches (HD), weighs 1.3 pounds, and supports 62mm front filters. The barrel is metal, with a large manual focus ring that's covered in a knurled rubber texture. A top window shows the current focal distance in feet, meters, and shows the corresponding magnification. Tamron is offering the lens for Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras—the Sony version omits optical stabilization, as that feature is built into Alpha SLRs...

The Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD is a fast-focusing, impeccably sharp macro lens for Canon, Nikon, and Sony SLRs.

Extremely sharp; No distortion; 1:1 macro magnification; Optically stabilized; Available for multiple camera systems

Dim corners at wide apertures
