A good buy at the sale price. The LCD is readable at any angle. The camera turns on/off by opening/closing the LCD door. It's ready to record in the most recent configuration by opening the LCD door--Just press the record button; press again to stop; close the door to turn off.

This is a great camera. It has really good picture quality. I use it to record live music inside venues. It has probably the best low light video picture quality I have seen. I have tried other camcorders but this one has the most crisp and vibrant picture in my opinion.

It's just what I wanted. It shoots excellent videos, small in size and all controls are easy to access. I did buy an extra battery and a 64GB card. The unit came with some very nice attachments that will come in handy. I'm very satisfied with this digital camcorder.
